Taj Dal View Srinagar

I would recommend staying at this hotel. Unbeatable location - superior service.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Taj! It was everything we expected and more. We had booked 4 rooms and the staff did everything they could to make our stay most enjoyable and comfortable. They were alert to our every request and made sure that they were available to help us whenever we needed help. I traveled with my aging parents and my 2 kids and they made sure that our every special request was met with a smile. The travel desk was very helpful with tips and bookings. The location is unbeatable - atop a hill that looks over Dal lake on one side and dwarfed by cloud covered mountains on the other. If you visit Srinagar, this is the place to stay - nothing comes close to the Taj! Highly recommended.

good hotel, beautiful views. however hotel has absolutely no facilities. no operational pool, no indoor pool, no spa, no massage, recreation room was only 1 carrom board, nothing to do in hotel. great service and view. however due to absolutely lack of any facilities wudnt rate hotel as 5 star. also very far from everything need a car to go anywhere.

Its is great on all aspects. If budget is not a constraint, then dont think any other option in Srinagar. There are only a few 5 star hotels here and this is undoubtedly the best and has a great view of the Dal lake.

Just 2 years old, this hotel is a 5star haven sitting on top of a kashmir mountain hill with eagle-eye views of the entire Dal Lake and the Srinagar city. The hotel is very modern and the rooms are free standing cabins with their own private garden - early morning and last thing at night I would sit outside in my garden and look over the srinagar city. Srinagar like the rest of India is a busy, crowded and dusty place that overwhelms all your senses - this hotel and it's location, felt like you were getting away from all that noise and as you drive up the mountain towards the hotel you can start to feel the air is fresher, it's becoming more and more tranquil and it's like going to a little pocket of heaven.

It would be better to add arabic TV chanells to TV chanells

the location,cleanliness,food was superb.only maintainence regarding air conditioning was poor.both nights the stay was disturbing as air conditioning in the room didnt work and it got suffocating.also,we did not get change of the room.

The staff were particularly excellent. Went to great lengths to make the stay comfortable and answer any questions or queries we had.

Amazing view, the best place to stay in Srinagar. Excellent food , room service and staff. The only problem we had was the breakfast, which was cold and ,service poor and slow.despite this a must stay.
