Staff were really nice and made an effort to get to know you. They checked in regularly on my needs. I loved the pool in my room, was decent size and depth! The complimentary 45min photo shoot was a fun surprise and I loved it because now I have physical evidence of my sweet memories here forever. Breakfast was halal, which was great for me. There were great touches to the hotel e.g bracelet and gong on arrival, complementary cakes, shuttle to padang beach. The location was very good. You felt like you were staying in a luxurious place- worth the money.

No one mentioned how close monkeys come, so first night I was chilling in the outdoor jacuźzi and there was a horde of monkeys that came nearby. I jumped into my room quickly but it meant I was a bit nervous using pool / jacuzzi after a certain time for the rest of my stay. I got mosquite bites a lot and only realised later there was a plug in repellant. I think this should have already been plugged in before I arrived and topped up through my stay as a matter of course. The door to go outside was quite stiff to open. The variety of English language movies/ TV channels could be better e.g no HBO.

Everything exceeded our expectations! The staff, rooms and buffet breakfast were wonderful. The uninterrupted sea-view and infinity pool made the experience a total re-set, we left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
