Driftwood Cottages

I am happy to give Driftwood Cottages the best mark possible. Unbelievable location.

The two bedroom unit was clean and well equipped. The owners went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and special guests.

We had a lovely modern cabin up the top with a wonderful balcony and view

The cottage we spent the night in was in need of a renovation however was comfortable enough. Even though they appeared to have been washed, of concern was a large stain on one of the bedsheets.

Good location; frustrating problem with microwave that "blew up"; minor maintenance issue in that several light globes were broken which should have been picked up as part of property review at the end of the previous occupancy.

Dover is a great place to use as a base for your visit to Tassie’s south. Driftwood cottages are the perfect place to stay in Dover. They are very comfortable and the view from the cottage is stunning. It is an easy walk into the centre of Dover plus nearby beaches. Don’t miss visiting Cockle Creek. The drive down is picturesque and the walks are strenuous but rewarding. The thermal spring pool at Hastings is also worth a visit. We didn’t have time to do the Ida Bay railway so we will have to return. When we do we will stay at Driftwood Cottages.

Beautiful location right on the waterfront. Modern facilities and a HUGE deck spa where you can enjoy the view for hours. Close to Hastings Caves, and many beautiful walking tracks. We will definitely be back!
