Yuzhniy Hotel

В принципе все понравилось, хороший завтрак, хороший тренажерный зал, но система вентиляции не очень, если ты живешь в холодный период времени и нет возможности открыть окно, то в номере душно.

There are two Grand-lux apartments in this hotel. We stayed two times at both. And I must admit this is the best accommodation in Volgograd. The furnishing iz elegant, the rooms are well maintained, clean, have a climat system, wi-fi, computer and even a printer (which in fact we used). I appreciated the fact, that the apartment has the separate lounge room. The staff is welcoming, nice and ready to help. The only complaint was breakfast - doesn't live up to high standard, not much choice. The breakfast in gastronomy downstairs is much better (and 10 times cheaper). Maybe the administration could think of a special breakfast for the guests staying in Grand-lux. Also we a glance of other rooms, I liked Studio-rooms. They are nearly the same comfortable and cost less.

Sehr gepflegtes und moderniseirtes Hotel. Nur an einigen Stellen merkt man, dass es allerdings auch schon älter ist. In meiner Suite war der Vorhang im Schlafzimmer zu schmal, während im Wohnbereich die vollen Breite angedeckt ist. Leider waren beide nicht verdunkelt, sodass es morgens schnell sehr hell im Zimmer war. Zur Rückseite war das Zimmer recht ruhig, während es zur Strassenseite vermutlich eher laut ist, da die Fenster nicht gut schließen. Ausstattung ist gut und recht neu. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und es gab sogar alkoholische Getränke gratis, z.B. Wein und Wodka. Ich habe es beim guten Kaffee belassen...

Great hotel, very modern, very clean. 24 hour room service, in the form of a shop and the end of a corridor. nice restaurant on the ground floor. Strong wi-fi signal throughout. Good location for tourism as Volgograd main road and associated public transport run parallel to the hotel front. Excellent Laundry service.

Stayed here for three business nights and the reception speaks perfect English, a nice surprise. They were very helpful. the room is big (level 4) and clean. The bathroom also. Two bottles of free water. Breakfast is quite OK, taste the nice pancakes. fruits are limited, only melon. Elevator small and old and noisy. They should make the doors run more smoothly. I would like to stay there again. They also arrange a taxi to the airport, took me around 40 minutes and reception said it would cost 800RUB, but was 600RUB. By the way, TIP: at the airport, there is a SKYpriority lounge on the left side of the checking desks. waiting is not a punishment there.

Das Zimmer war verglichen mit dem Standard der Region ordentlich, aber klein und nicht sehr komfortabel. Das gilt besonders für das Bett. Der Zimmerpreis ist für die gebotene Leistung recht hoch. Alledings ist das Hotel wenige Kilometer von der Stadtmitte entfernt verkehrstechnisch gut zu erreichen. Das kostenlose WLAN rundet das Bild eines Hotels für Geschäftreisende ab. Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals tröstet über Nachteile hinweg.

Excellent place. Excellent location. Plenty of help for English speaking tourists. The restaurant had good food. There was plenty of service for arranging transportation to and from the airport.
