Clifden Station House

We stayed here for a mid week night. We probably had higher expectations considering it was €130 for one night on a Wednesday. Location: The location is great, perfect jumping off point for Connemara and right in the center of town. Breakfast: The breakfast was great, but very busy, definitely worth getting down for around 8.30am or earlier. We went down around 9am we had to wait in the foyer for 10 minutes which was fine but it was very busy in the dining room Room: The room was big, we had a corner room at the end of the hall so that was great. It was really quiet, I don't remember hearing anybody else but maybe you would if you were further down the hall but no complaints there at all. We had a coupe of small problems with the room (Hair Dryer was broken, bathroom door handle was broken and the bath filled up with water very quickly and didn't drain for a whole after having a shower). The bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the pool or exercise facilities so I can't speak for them. Overall: Overall is was a nice hotel but for this price I would have expected a much better standard

Lovely hotel, close to the centre so able to walk into Clifden. We ate once in the bar across the road, it was lovely. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, buffet style but plenty of it and all fresh.

Fairly old and dated hotel on the main road, but fortunately traffic noise was low during the night. Easy access to the centre of town. Car parking was limited and dinner was only available at the hotels bar across the road. Food was ok but not memorable.

Easy to locate, self parking, quick check-in and a very spacious and clean room

Staff at this hotel go above and beyond to make their guest's stay a easure. Will definitely be back

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the lady who was helping was very sweet. Walking distance to many restaurants.
