The hotel and room were beautiful and eclectic. Amazing views of the village from the hotel terrace. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were delicious too.

Göreme is a hot spot for tourist activities, amenities and restaurants so we had to take a 15 min taxi from the hotel in Ortahisar into Göreme.

Awesome, beautiful hotel! Wish we could have stayed here longer. The hotel itself is lovely. Lots of little terraces with great views (especially at night). Reception and staff were all very friendly and accommodating and courteous (for example, they had someone drive us to a carpet store, gave us blankets and turned on the heater when we were sitting outside at night, and packed us lunchboxes when we left super early for our hot air balloon ride). Our room was clean and spacious - more space than we even needed. The restaurant food was delicious, from the bread to the main courses, to the dessert (the candied pumpkin dessert with fairy floss was my favorite one). Breakfast was lovely as well - a variety of cheeses, fruits, pastries, plus omelette dishes. It did get cold at night so bring some sweaters/jackets. There is a little laundry room guests can use which was a plus (although it did take total over 4 hours to wash/dry one load). Because of all the little steps/terraces, I would advise not to bring a 25kg suitcase (like I did) - it was hard lugging it back up to the lobby at 4a. I can't recommend enough if you are staying in the area (even if you want a good restaurant to eat at). I would definitely stay here again!

We made our reservation very last minute as the hotel we had initially booked did not match the photos that were posted online. On arriving at the hotel, we explained why we made the reservation 30 minutes ago and told the manager that we were aware of how early we were at 9:30 am and checkout starts at 2:00 pm, requesting him if we could just drop off our bags. He kindly told us not to stress and that he would see what he could do, and very graciously told us to enjoy a complimentary breakfast – which was very much needed after 8 hours of travelling. The breakfast was delicious, and the hospitality was impeccable. The manager was also kind enough to upgrade our room to a suite and we were able to check in at 10:00 am. 5 minutes after checking in a female staff member accompanied by a male staff member dropped by to offer us a complimentary bottle of wine to de-stress. I liked that the hotel had put thought into sending a female staff member as we were 2 girls travelling together. It was much appreciated! Overall the stay and hospitality were so fantastic and welcome after our difficult time in Istanbul that my friend and I debated extending the trip to relax further, which we were unable to due to the nature of our further bookings. Highly recommend Hezen Cave and I will be suggesting the property to all my friends and colleagues that will be going to Cappadocia!

Absolutely fantastic hotel, highly recommend to anyone staying in Cappadocia. The staff are incredible, so helpful and warm. Probably the best we have ever been looked after by hotel staff. Excellent food in the restaurant and great place to relax and unwind. Cannot recommend enough!
