Hezen Cave Hotel

Sometimes your shoulders drop and your face relaxes when walk into a hotel after a long day. This is one of those times. The staff was very attentive and genuine. The buildings and rooms were will appointed and maintained. The breakfast spread was very large and tasty. Dinner was delicious. The lamb shanks melted off the bone. I highly recommended this hotel

- The structure itself is beautiful. Wonderfully renovated and tastefully furnished. - The kindness of the staff, especially at check-in, stands out. They have a perfect idea of how to approach the customer. Well done. - Not only did they provide us with the quiet room we requested, but they also surprised us with the décor. So sweet.

I would like to point out that the following feedback is aimed solely at stimulating areas for improvement in what is already a very good structure. - Please try to find a solution to soundproof the windows and doors. The litanies of the neighboring mosque's muezzin disturbed our sleep at 4 in the morning. - The bed duvet is too small compared to the size of the mattress. An additional blanket in the closet would help. - The value for money is okay, but not exceptional, especially considering that the location of the property does not justify the price compared to other similar properties in much nicer surroundings like Uçhisar or Ürgüp. Furthermore, the quality of the dinner catering did not seem adequate for the cost. However, I am sure that you will raise the standard once the professional kitchen you were setting up is operational.

Fantastic Hotel with many terraces to capture breathtaking views. Very courteous staff. Amazing rooms with a lot of space. Ms Tagina was specially very kind and helpful. All staff were good. Excellent for families. You can do your own laundry for free!

This was an amazing hotel. The view from hotel property were gorgeous, the staff were so helpful from booking to check-out. The provided breakfast each day and the dinner (we paid for) were all delicious. The staff provided great insight on the area and gave great ideas On what to see, do and where to eat.

Very helpful staff especially Mehmet. The location is good; away from the touristy Goreme. The breakfast was nice with tasty Gozleme and breads. The auite room is worth the price.

Top of my list. I have been traveling to many places and this is the first time I wholeheartedly want to write a good review for a hotel. Hazen Cave Hotel brought us too many surprises. All the staff are so friendly and treating you in a very sincere way. Details below: 1. Traditional cave hotel designs decorated in such a good taste. I love the hall, the dining area, and also all the terraces with good views. This hotel is like a boutique one because they only have 17 rooms. Everything clean and organised and it’s a pleasure walking around exploring. 2. Upgraded our room to Supreme Suite. This is a low season for tourism in the area but we highly appreciate it. The room is very clean which is what I care about the most. I was also worried about humidity in cave hotels but this one is extremely comfortable. The heat is functioning well and we can also turn on AC if needed. Room very spacious and comfortable. 3. Quality of food exceeded my expectation and the staff make sure we try everything! I was joking with my husband that we may gain 5 pounds if we stay longer. The Cheese Rolls make by the chef are soooooo good and I suddenly became a cheese fan. I usually don’t expect eating within hotels but this one really impressed me. The chef is very nice and he keeps checking on us if we need anything. It feels like family. Even the orange juice is freshly made. The lamb slow-cooked for 4 hours is also a very decent dish. I would definitely want to come back again.

Hem çalışanlarıyla hem dizaynıyla çok sıcak, sevimli bir otel. Kahvaltısı oldukça kaliteli, ürünleri lezzetli. Akşam yemeği az ama öz çeşit içeriyor. Konumu zaten harika, her köşesinden ayrı bir manzara sunuyor. Odada hem kalorifer hem klima mevcut. Klimaya ihtiyaç duyduk epey serin oluyor aksi takdirde. Her konuda yardımcı oluyor çalışanlar. Gökhan Bey kalacağımız süreye uygun gezi planı bile çıkardı bize. Biz çok memnun ayrıldık, teşekkürler Hezen.

I couldn’t recommend Hezen Cave Hotel, a four-star hotel in Ortahisar, Türkiye, highly enough. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views over the town of Ürgüp. The traditional Cave rooms are built into the hill, and have individualized Turkish personality and color. The hotel has a warm, comfortable, and stylish feel. It's a laid-back place where you don't need to dress up to eat and the hotel has a free laundry room (but, since what little labeling there was, was in Turkish, the machines were a bit challenging to use – but the hotel supplied tutoring). Rooms: The rooms are well-kept and artistically decorated. The toilets have radiant-heated floors, the showers closely resemble traditional hammams (but without the steam, the rooms are full of LED spot-lit nooks full of antiques. The property is designed to give a cozy feeling while staying in the caves and the staff is obsequious in its attention to serving you. The hotel provided an excellent varied and fresh buffet breakfast (included in the rate) and a heart and delicious ala carte dinner menu (at a reasonable extra cost). Now the other news: the hotel is built on multiple levels out of stone buildings dating back hundreds of years and more resembles a medieval stone European town than a single structure. Especially if you have knee or hip issues, the current town of the locations of some of the rooms in this hotel are more for mountain goats than for you. An example of a room to avoid is suite #15 – while the suite is huge and the décor worthy of an interior decorating magazine, it is down multiple flights of stone steps and has multiple levels within the suite itself. On the other hand, suite #13, while smaller, is equally ornate, on the same level as the restaurant and does not have interior stairs. Also, there is little likelihood that you will see hot-air balloons in this neck of the woods. But it was the above and beyond service from every single staff member that made the biggest difference. The hotel is excellent with a very clean environment and friendly management. When welcomed we were given a thorough outline of the areas unique landscape and history, and genuine recommendations of where to eat and what to see. By far one the best boutique hotels I’ve experienced in a long time.
