Nun Assisi Relais & Spa Museum

Breakfast had a good selection, also freshly cooked dishes, the spa is really special, it’s built into an ancient temple underground, and the massages we got twice were simply outstanding. Really central location, everything is in reach by foot. Good design, a quiet place for a relaxing stay.

Two things we were missing: some kind of lounge or relaxation area, also the bar isn’t really a bar. Due to the heat during our stay an outdoor pool would have been much appreciated. Other than that nothing to complain about.

Terrific hotel Be careful that you only booked this hotel directly with the hotel and don’t be tracked by any websites. Make sure it’s the official hotel website or call them directly. Otherwise you will get stuck with a $250 commission to these other people. This hotel was absolutely spectacular and 40 years of traveling. I’ve never use the spa before I spent half a day in their spine was absolutely terrific. The food was great. The service was fantastic. The rooms were top notch . I could spend a month at this hotel.

Beautiful restored monastery that has been reimagined as a hotel and spa. Great location!! The staff goes overboard to make sure you have a five star experience! Comfortable large room with two rooms, two TV’s, and plenty of storage. The Spa sets this apart from other options.

Simply, everything. Staff were great Room was fantastic - spacious, great standard. Pillows like “sleeping on a cloud” according to my other half Spa area is incredible Breakfast was fantastic. Overall, really really excellent and way beyond my expectations based on the listing

Can’t think of anything

Elegant, sophisticated, professional AND warm, proactive and considerate service throughout the experience. Most conveniently located, most beautifully designed and furnished, everything is a great experience, the rooms, the spa, the outdoor garden and relax gardens, the amazing Benedikto restaurant, a definite must-do in the evening with some tasty food and wine, great attention from the chef and team, and an incredible view and atmosphere. Thank you to all the most professional and considerate staff, particularly nice to our child’s needs, and special thanks to Michele for making our breakfast special every day. Bravi!!!!

BEWARE OF BOOKING IN THE SUMMER - The temperature this summer in Italy has been in the 90s and this should be no surprise this hotel. When we checked in to room #7, we were asked for our preference in room temperature, which was 20 degrees (C) and our host confirmed this was possible. Two hours later the thermostat registered the same as when we entered (25 C). I called the desk, and they said give it time. 4 hours after check-in it was still at 25. I asked for assistance. They sent a technician which reported the room was working fine. Really? When we returned after dinner at 10 pm, the room was at 25 C. I believe the hotel knew that 20 C was never possible due to their inadequate AC system, but they never disclosed this. The room was not comfortable for sleeping, and if I knew this at check-in I would have left and chosen another hotel. Since I prepaid the room they could not offer a refund. I had a bad night of sleep because the room was too hot. In fact, in the morning, when it was 75 degrees outside, the thermostat was still at 25 C. The property is beautiful, but I also wish their website description accurately described the Spa Suites, which can be on two floors with a steep staircase. The bed and bathroom upstairs and the living space downstairs. I am disappointed that the hotel is not prepared for summer heat, and since I have been traveling in Italy all month, this is the first hotel with an AC problem. So, if you plan to visit in the summer, pick a different place.
