Worst 5 star hotel ! It is not 5 star quality starting from the staff who barely speak English , no general manager either on sight . Gym was underwhelming with the bike screen not working , 1 cardio machine broken and the treadmill very old and gym very small . Yoga class was taught by their own staff who was not a yoga teacher even but just a staff member . There is no beach , when the tide is high you cannot swim . Spa also underwhelming . Breakfast is only a la carte , even for water you need to order . Clearly it makes sense to have at least some things buffet -style like drinks , juices , bread , fruit otherwise it is inefficient and slow. Prices for taxi much higher than what all operators around were offering .

We went for our honeymoon through luxury escapes and booked an indulgence package. The staff upgraded us to the presidential suite and we were so so grateful. So much space and luxurious touches- we felt like kings and queens. Everything here was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the peace, quiet and the privacy. Breakfast goes until 1pm so no need to rush in the mornings we enjoyed our slow wake up. Menu was quite restricted but delicious. Not much of a beach but we went for a swim when the tide was low and it was amazing. Ps: our spa package included daily 30min massage, I used them collectively on 2 occasions to get longer massages. Downside you have to pay for oil massage 400 thai bhat which is about 16aud- bit expensive compared to other nearby places but you get treated like royalty here so all worth it. Fang (manager) and her team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Thank you so so much. Fang you're a beautiful person inside out and love how you run your team and treat all guests with so much kindness and respect. You've left a mark and we will definitely be back xx

Dear General Manager, I am writing to you regarding my recent stay at Casa de La Flora, as I would like to share my experience with you directly before posting a detailed review on public platforms such as TripAdvisor and Google. We stayed two nights in a Sea View / Beachfront room, and I would like to acknowledge that the room itself and the beachfront location were excellent and fully met our expectations. However, our overall experience was negatively impacted by the front desk service, which created an unnecessary and constant sense of pressure throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, the focus was placed almost exclusively on immediate payment rather than on welcoming us as guests: We were pressed to settle the payment straight away, A staff member followed us all the way to our room with a credit card machine to ensure payment was completed immediately, The very first question asked upon arrival concerned the exact time of our check-out the following day, giving us the clear impression that our departure was more important than our stay. This approach felt stressful and is, in my opinion, not in line with the level of service expected from a hotel of this standard. During our stay, we wished to extend our reservation by one additional night. As our original room was no longer available, we were offered a Duplex Grand Pool Villa Beachfront. Unfortunately: The villa is not truly beachfront, as the view is blocked by a wall with no sea view at all, There was a persistent sewage smell in the bathroom area, which made the room uncomfortable to use. These issues do not reflect either the room category description or the quality standards one would reasonably expect. Last point, when we left the person in charge of luggage forgot to put in a bag belonging to us containing a computer and my passport. Before leaving a review on TripAdvisor, I emailed the General Manager ( Mr Jirapa Lertkulthana) who never replied.

We had an outstanding stay in this beautiful resort. The best breakfast I had ever had …., la aranya restaurant …, the staff, atmosphere, food, location….just extraordinary….bravo! modern boutique furnished villas, the staff was always helpful , polite, smiling…,daily refilled minibar( great choice of the drinks)….sometimes I felt like in a heaven😉for those who loves peace, relaxation, to slown down …from the resort you can go to the sea via staircase which we did not mind or just 5 minutes walk to the left or right are beautiful beaches …

To be absolutely perfect resort, it's a pity that hotel doesn't have own sandy beach.

Lovely location in Khao Lak. Close to all amenities. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great pool although a bit small. Room shower was powerful and great after a long day of sightseeing. The all inclusive package allowed us to eat and drink well! Rooms were always made up and clean and comfortable. A few room oddities like bathroom light switches were near the bed but that is just a minor point.

Our stay was truly exceptional. From the welcoming staff to the beautifully maintained rooms and top-notch amenities, every detail exceeded expectations. The team was incredibly accommodating, consistently going above and beyond to make us feel completely at home

Fantastic small, modern design, boutique hotel. Located in a very quiet beach front location, but a short (5-10 minutes) walk to an excellent selection of shops, bars, restaurants and Bang Niang market. Access to sea down steps from hotel but no beach for sunbathing (very narrow stretch of sand between hotel beach wall and sea when tide out) but the most stunning beaches just 5 minutes walk away. Beach front room with pool was spacious with excellent facilities, including fridge (stocked daily with soft drinks and beer) / freezer, kettle and coffee maker. Plentiful supply of drinking water restocked twice a day. Room service impeccable and all staff efficient, helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay so enjoyable. Restaurant and reception staff provided a first class service always with a genuine smile. Could not have asked for more.

Excellent view from our suite, great a la carte breakfast, staff was so friendly and amazing. Totally great place to in holiday!

Casa de La Flora is a boutique hotel in Khao Lak. We stayed 10 nights and booked a package with Luxury Escapes. There are 30 villas on site and they’re not equal, some are split level with multiple stairs, while others are single level with ocean front views, so you’ll need to be mindful when booking your stay to ensure you’re allocated a villa that meets your expectations. The restaurant is à la cart, serving delicious food, and staff make a great effort to accommodate dietary and personalised requirements. The wellness spa is underwhelming and not as depicted on the website. Guests are instructed to don on full length pyjamas, no oil or skin contact-just a dry massage. The jacuzzi and sauna were not operating during our stay. We found an excellent independent massage place just 200 meters from the hotel for less than half price. Airport transfers from the hotel is almost double the standard price. There’s plenty of taxis to get around so shop around. We enjoyed swimming in the warm ocean during low tide and there’s a little private beach just next door🙏
