Rawai Palm Beach Resort - SHA Extra Plus

We had the pool entry room which was outstanding. Good size room and very clean. The pool was lovely.

The breakfast is not really catering for westerners, mainly Asian food. I found as an older guest I was quite worried about the uneven grounds and steps. The sofa in my room was very uncomfortable. I had 3/4 of a pizza ordered from room service left while I had a swim and the cleaners took it when they cleaned my room.

The whole area was available to smokers, the guests were mainly russian and others, it was a very bad pick when you are from Australia and you want a lovely holiday. definitely would not recommend. The smoke was all around the pool and the pool bar , and as we are non smokers it stunk everywhere. we could only stay in our mosquito infected area which was our room and some of the pool.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the staff were all extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are big and clean and had everything we needed and more

I do wish the pool could stay open a little later than 7pm
