Thapae Boutique House

Comfortable bed, very helpful and friendly staff and quiet location just off the main road through Chiang Mai.

Location is good, near the gate to the old town, money exchange counter nearby Staff is friendly

Location very close to Tarpae Gate. Clean affordable room.Helpful staff. Stayed here many years ago before the downturn and the place was amazing. Looking a little run down now and facing a lot of competition.Hopefully it will bounce back.

We opted for a regular room but might have thought it would have come with a TV?

The is very hard! Like sleep on the floor. Everything is very old and not clean.

Firstly the receptionist was a lovely and helpful girl.On arrival we were told no breakfast when we had pre booked and paid for it.Later we were told we could have it.Something had gone wrong there.The hotel is nothing like the photos advertising it.The whole place needs a good revamp.The beds are rock hard and uncomfortable. Bedroom furniture was awful as was the bathroom.The television was as old as the hills. In Chiang Mai there are much better and cheaper hotels than this one. Dont reccomend.
