Likes: it was an old castle with amazing views. Dislikes: stair master to get to anything, bottom pool was a bug nest, hot tub was not hot and filled with tree debris.

"Beautiful hotel, terrible service"

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. That's where the positives end. The service leaves much to be desired. For starts, the wi-fi in our room didn't work. The signal was too weak. The AC was located on the bottom floor, when it should have been placed in the bedroom. As a result, the bedroom was quite uncomfortable to sleep at night. The gym is laughable--there are a few treadmills and one wire-based strength equipment, but nothing else. The service at most restaurants was exceedingly slow. We walked into one restaurant and watched as the waiters cleaned other tables, sorted silverware, and took a good 10 minutes to even get us a menu. On one occasion, the cleaning staff left the door to our room open--not just unlocked, but open. Anyone could have walked in and stolen something. I think the hotel management relies too much on the reputation and setting of the hotel, and not enough in making sure the guests have a pleasant stay.

"Unique cliff side property"

Amazing property. Loved walking the hillside grounds. Very unique hotel with beautiful views. Service was good. Our room was large, but lacked a shower and the bath facilities were old. No sink in the toilet area. shower wand in tub broken.

Hard time with checking in.. Staff was very unhappy and unwilling to show any courtesy to us. The room was very uncomfortable, and lights didn't work in bathroom..

This was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. The terraces with the life size animal sculptures, the sea views and so much more. The staff AMAZING!!!
