Riad El Maâti

La struttura si trova nel cuore della medina, raggiungibile solo a piedi. Le camere sono un po' spartane, ma il personale è estremamente gentile e affabile. Il proprietario ci ha accompagnato personalmente a cena in un ottimo ristorante a pochi minuti dal Riad e la mattina dopo ci ha servito la colazione sul terrazzo.

Il comfort della camere si può migliorare

Nous avons trouvé cet établissement extrêmement calme, le lieu était si paisible. Nous avons eu la chance pendant 3 jours d’être les seuls hôtes😊

Nous n’avons trouvé aucune fausse note dans cet établissement. Le personnel était d’une extrême gentillesse, toujours bienveillant et souriant. Hannan et ……(veuillez excuser l’oubli du prénom de la très gentille femme qui, avec Hannan, nous ont merveilleusement bien « chouchouté »🙏) ont été toujours présentes lorsque nous avions des questions pour visiter la ville. Ce Riad est idéalement placé, au cœur de la médina et pas si loin non plus des quartiers modernes de Rabat. Un roof top idéal pour jouer au Rumicub ou siroter le « whisky local », dixit avec humour un gentil homme rencontré lors de la visite de la ville, peu avare de narrer l’histoire de Rabat aux 2 touristes que nous étions, et dont la définition du délicieux thé à la menthe nous a fait sourire😉.

The place is absolutely stunning, from the interior design to the calm & peaceful atmosphere. The suite was very comfortable & beautifully arranged. Breakfast was good, & the staff were extremely kind & welcoming, especially Karim (Abdelkarim) my apologizes if I got the name wrong. He was in charge during the night shift. His respectful & discreet manner, particularly for us as a group of women, reflected a high level of consideration & professionalism for privacy, which greatly enhanced our sense of comfort & safety. What I appreciated the most was the sense of safety & privacy. I truly felt at home. As I mentioned we were a group of women, some of us wearing hijab, this was very important to us. We felt completely comfortable & secure, & we were even able to walk freely without hijab in the morning. The level of security and serenity made our stay very special & relaxing.

The only thing missing was the availability of a prayer mat and clear Qibla direction for Muslim guests. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Staff were very helpful, provided information in English when needed and a great filling breakfast. The location is in a good part of Rabat, a quiet area just behind the market and within walking distance from everything. As most Riads the natural lighting is a little limited in the bedrooms but the the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. As a solo traveller I felt comfortable and safe. For those who are driving there is an underground parking close by which has 24hr security.

Riad molto elegante con grande cura dei dettagli e un bellissimo giardino interno. ottima colazione, ottima posizione nella Medina di Rabat, stanze pulite e molto spaziose
