The location of this property is 10/10! Across from Retiro, in the beautiful Jerónimos neighborhood, it offers easy walking access to the museum area, the castellano, and barrio Salamanca, The rooms are clean and comfortable and the front desk team is extremely friendly. It was perfect for my short stay!

No real bar area to relax in. There is a bar but in an unusual space with limited seating. Bathroom sink was more style over practicality.

What did I like? First and foremost, the staff. From the manager Luis to the Toñi at breakfast and everyone in between was just stellar! Location is absolutely great right across from Parque Retiro and away from the noise yet walking distance to the active Puerta del Sol and Gran Via. I would stay here again.

While the room itself was comfortable, the hotel lacks the atmosphere you would expect from a property with “Palace” in its name. The hallways and room entrances have a somewhat office-like, almost industrial feel, rather than a warm or elegant ambiance. The property would benefit from updated decor or renovations to create a more inviting and refined experience that better matches its branding.
