I’ve stayed here twice and both times it was a good experience, the pool and the pool chairs are amazing. Good breakfast too.

We spent two nights at this wonderful hotel price was very reasonable for our basic room. Others are right -- this is a small room, but has two beds, spotless floors, and strong wifi. Easy walk to the restaurants, but far enough to be quiet. Comfortable pool. In addition to the included breakfast, there is a bottomless coffee in the morning and a full restaurant and bar on site. Special appreciation to the local guidance from the front office. We told how to get to Playa Penca, which was one of the highlights of the whole trip. And if you are there on Wednesday, you can see what seems like every young Tico doing soccer drills in the field across from the hotel.

The property is quaint and well kept, centrally located within walking distance to everything….including steps from the beach! Everything is well maintained and immaculately clean, with consistent WiFi and excellent AC in guest rooms. The pool area is a sublimely relaxing space and the restaurant menu serves something for everyone’s palate. **BUT** what makes The Palms so genuinely special is its staff. Every staff member is friendly, knowledgeable and goes above and beyond, adding personal touches to the customer service they provide, especially Ileana at reception and Chris in the dining/bar area. Huge thanks to the entire team for a fantastic stay. PURA VIDA!!

The property was a great stay. The rooms are a bit narrow, beds all the way to the wall on one side. The menu they offered and the food was absolutely fantastic. We loved our stay here. The staff was very friendly. But, the cleaning crew start vacuuming so early sometimes as early as 5:00ish in the morning.

I was participating in a triathlon in Playa del Coco, so I picked this hotel because of its proximity to the race (it was right across the street from the futbol field), so that was super convenient, but it turns out the hotel was a great choice anyway. The staff was extremely friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and comfortable to stay in. I didn't use all the amenities, but the pool looked lovely and refreshing, and the food looked tasty. The location is a 30 seconds walk to the beach, and in less than a minute you are on the main street that has all the shops and restaurants. The only issue I had was that at 3 in the morning the smoke detector began beeping very loudly (it needed a new battery) and it woke me up. I tried calling the front desk, but there was no one there. Unfortunately it kept me up, and I lost an hour of sleep before I was supposed to get up for my triathlon. But other than that issue, I had a wonderful stay and will stay there again.

I love this hotel. The lady who works the late shift is absolutely amazing. Sorry I forgot your name. I highly recommend this place.

This was just an average hotel, nothing special or memorable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the hotel its self was in poor condition and lod
