The Worlds End

Lovely hotel. Room temperature a little hard to maintain. But most frustrating thing about stay was the bright green emergency lighting in the bedrooms and large gap under door, might as well have left the lights on all night! Really hard to sleep.

Overall it’s a nice place. Some annoyances. Green emergency lights in rooms are very bright. TV remote didn’t work. Tried to order food at bar and asked to come back in 15 minutes as kitchen was busy. Check out couldn’t work printer so was promised to email receipt - it arrived 3 days later after two further requests. That said it’s well priced, staff are friendly, clean, comfortable and food is very good.

Worlds end was over rated, prices did not reflect the quality. bar prices suggest its a better class establishment but actually my experience was sitting in a bar with loud foul mouthed locals. I was conned into believing I could have two smaller portions of starters as I could not decide which but then was charged for two normal portions. Annoying as that came to more than an actual full meal. Breakfast was under cooked had to leave half of it. Bedrooms were fine and room service was good, rooms very clean but so are premier inn. I was hoping for a finer class experience. Which was advertised.

Great hotel. It was a shame that we had to leave the bar area by 11pm. We had just purchased a drink and would have liked to sit for longer. Other than this the hotel was great.

Hotel staff were helpful, there was a nice bar area to sit in. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice as well.

It fitted what we were looking for.

stay here for work, room was lovely, bathroom had a new rough edges. food in the bar was brilliant.

Rooms are quiet, comfortable and always clean. Food in both the bar and restaurant are always excellent and staff are friendly. Plenty of available parking.
