Nice historical Masseria, good breakfast facilities and service.

The bed cracked (made some noise) the room did not have much light. It also can have more electricity charging points. You have to disconnect the light to put in a charger.

Breakfast was very good, the eggs we requested were great but over easy was a little challenging, perfect the first morning but lost in translation the next two, not a problem. Everything was deleicius and the staff was great. Kind and attentive! The setting was magical and all food was naturally healthy, a far cry from most of the food in the states (sorry one of my biggest pet peeves :)

The drought in most of southern Italy left me most disappointed. I love walking the grounds and one of my biggest treats when visiting my home town of Belevedere di Spinello in southern Calabria is eating all the fresch produce, especially the prickly pears! Alas they were disappointing to eat. So except for the weather related lack of eating my way through southern Italy there is nothing that we did not like about this location

Breakfast OK but clearly towards the end of the season the buffet was a bit sparse eg no yogurt and no croissants

No touches like a welcome bowl of fruit and water. Toiletries a bit basic for this price
