Don Raúl

It was the best experience ever. I was traveling to celebrate my mother’s birthday and they make my mother felt very special. All the employees were very kind and sweet. This was my first travel to Chile and they were about expectation in service and kindness. I will definitely come back to Don Raul.

Our stay at Don Raúl was truly wonderful. The hotel itself is beautiful, featuring a spacious garden and a refreshing pool that made for a relaxing atmosphere. The service was outstanding, with the staff consistently warm, welcoming, and attentive to our needs. One of the highlights of our stay was the included breakfast—offering a fantastic variety of options, it was by far the best breakfast we had during our entire trip to Chile. We would highly recommend Don Raúl to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. High quality hotel, although rooms are a little small, but I think this is typical of the town. Some maintenance issues which were quickly fixed. Would highly recommend.

Its a 3,5 rating, but I have rounded up due to the quietness, great restaurant and nice people. The room was fine but the bed very noisy. Every time you turned it squeaked loudly. Very annoying. The bathroom could have been bigger but we managed to.

The staff at this hotel was absolutely exceptional. They helped us with everything from translating emails to calling another hotel for us to set up our next booking. The pool and the grounds were wonderful. The food in the restaurant - especially the buffet breakfast - were first class. We loved everything about our visit!

I really wanted to like this hotel, the setting and rooms were lovely, but the service was disappointing. As an international traveler, I rely on wifi, but the room I was assigned had no signal. Reception claimed not all rooms had wifi, suggesting I use the reception area instead. A hostel I had used prior in the same town offered full wifi. After some back and forth, I was given an upgraded room with wifi. However, the air conditioning started leaking water, and reception only fixed it by placing a bin under it, leaving dirty foot prints in the room during the process. Breakfast service was lacking—only the lady at registration spoke to me, there was an omelette station, but serving staff didn't acknowledge me nor anyone, leading me to get up from my table to ask for eggs. When I inquired about a direct airport transfer that morning, the receptionist told me it was too late to book for the same day, requiring 24 hours notice and suggested an expensive taxi or long public bus options. After investigating online, I found same-day bookings were possible and returned to inform her. (I had used a same day transfer from the airport to the town). She reluctantly booked me onto the 1:00 PM departure, after repeating it wasn’t available for a second time. When the transfer arrived there were 2 people, including myself, with 5 free seats. This unhelpful attitude was consistent with the wifi and breakfast service issues.

The staff were exceptional in reception and in the restaurant, going above and beyond in helping witha travel problem and understanding our wishes. My Spanish is non existent and my tech ability patchy. All was dealt with patience and charm. The food was excellent and the house carmenere smoothed all worries away.

Achei o hotel com café sem muitas opções, fui a 2 passeios e não tomei café no hotel e no dia que cheguei pedir para eles trocarem para o dia que não tomaríamos café, porém não aceitaram e me fizeram pagar 30 mil pesos. Além do meu checkin que seria para sair ao meio dia e solicitei até as 18 pois meu voo sairá 21 hrs e eles tb me cobraram mais 50 mil pesos por isso.

localizado na rua principal, caracolles, mas muito silencioso. o hotel é todo feito de adobe, tem um pátio enorme e lindo, gostoso de esperar os passeios ou apenas descansar. O quarto é grande, ducha fabulosa, cama excepcional. o cafe da manhã é coisa de outro mundo! muitas variedades, fazem ovos na hora e pasmem: ate musica ao vivo com saxofone! essa foi minha 4x no atacama e esse foi o melhor hotel q fiquei. voltarei COM CERTEZA!
