Hilton Guangzhou Baiyun

The rooms were very spacious and very clean. The staff were very friendly and always willing to assist even when there was a language barrier. The breakfast had an exceptionaly rich variety of offerings . The hotel was located in a quite area of town. The hotel is walking distance from shopping mall (about 300m) where there a few resturants and a Walmart store.

My room for the first two night was facing a new construction site were construction work was being done throughout the night and being a sensitive sleeper, I found difficult to sleep well through the night, the noise constantly disrupted my sleep. But when I complained to the hotel reception staff the swiftly moved me to another wing of the hotel, were there was no noice. Otherwise my stay at the hotel hotel was exceptional.

1. The carpets in the hotel are all past their functional time. 2. The gym is date, old equipment that need to be changed. 3. Part of the restaurant floor needs to be changed.

Ethan and Stanley were very helpful (they were just superb) including Chef John who helped me with selection of vegetarian food were labels were not clear to me.

The bed was abit soft which led to some back pain.

The location is really good, next to it is two big shopping malls with lot of food options.

We stayed at the executive floor, the faculty at the executive lounge was 3 star standard very low category of alcohol and food is really not unto the standard and also for breakfast we found the same thing at the same place every day no change and options were also very limited we stayed for 7 days very disappointing .

To be fair the gym and the swimming pool only

The rooms smelt of mould, there’s a construction site operating 24/7 with noise all around the room. I had a terrible experience and expected to be compensated somehow, all that I was offered was 50% off the laundry, not sure how they thought that would put me at ease after the horrible stay.

Great Hotel. Booked for access to the Hilton Lounge this time and it was great for having space to work. Helpful staff. Couldnt fault anything. Perfect place to stay for Canton fair.

40 mins minimum to Canton Fair on the bus - ok but always lots of traffic!
