Hostal Los Corchos

Hostel Los Corchos was fabulous! Excellent family run hostel who were always helpful, polite and respectful to me as a solo female traveller. The hostel was spotlessly clean, was in a perfect location close to both the sea, restaurants and the shops. Great value for money, I’m definitely returning!

Could be a little too noisy at times - especially whilst eating in the entrance/dining area/bar where I would have appreciated a little quiet and privacy.

Lovely Hostel, great location, so close to the beach. I travelled alone and never felt worried at all about this either at Los Corchos or while out in surrounding areas. The train station is a 15 minute walk from Los Corchos and when I found I arrived earlier than expected they let me check in early and at the end of my stay watched over my suitcase after checkout time while I spent my last few hours in Fuengirola. Staff are very friendly and helpful, helping me work out directions to somewhere I wanted to visit. Also another review mentioned the showers being poor but I didn't find this at all, the water pressure was good and nice and cold after a hot August day, but plenty of hot water if you had wanted this too

It would be nice if there was AC in the rooms as it was very hot overnight but I appreciate this would be expensive and potentially not possible, and hot nights are to be expected in Spain in August so it was fine!

We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so. The accommodation is perfect for us and all the staff are just lovely and so friendly and give you a very warm welcome always when you arrive. Everything is just right, you won't find anything to complain about.

Didn't like leaving and going home but we are booked again in a few weeks time to return.
