Meike's Guesthouse

Meike's guesthouse has large, very comfortable, stylishly decorated rooms, each with a lovely sun terrace opening onto a beautiful garden. The rooms had large elegant bathrooms and a comfortable sitting area. Breakfast was buffet style, with excellent choice of delicious food, beautifully displayed. Meike and Klaus were genial hosts and could not have been more helpful during our stay. Both Meike and Nina gave us detailed information and booked each of our trips in and around Swapokmund, which really made our stay one of the standout experiences we had in Namibia. In particular we loved The Welwitchia Drive, The morning desert walking tour with Kevin, The full day Sandwich harbour tour with Kris and a memorable flight to Sossuvlei returning by the coastline. We can't thank Meike and all the lovely staff in the guesthouse enough for their incredible hospitality.

Sehr leckeres Frühstück. Sehr freundliches Personal und Meike hat uns beim Frühstück mit Reisetipps versorgt. Die Zimmer waren sehr gut und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, man merkt, da hat sich jemand richtig Gedanken gemacht, was man als Urlauber braucht.

Es ist immer super direkten Kontakt vor Ort zu haben. Vielen herzlichen Dank für die tollen Tips und aktuellen Informationen über Sehenswertes und das Leben in Namibia. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön! Alle waren sehr freundlich und haben uns viele Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants gegeben sowie uns bei der Reservierung dafür geholfen. Das Frühstück war das beste, dass wir auf unserer Reise hatten! Wir würden immer wieder kommen!

Very cosy and quiet place near the beach of Swakopmund. Pleasant room & facilities. I also enjoyed the fresh made breakfast very much. Furthermore the guesthouse couple are very friendly and helpfull with utmost guest hospitality at heart, definatly deserves to be recommended.
