The employees at the front desk were all very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was great - close to train station and easy to walk to other primary sites in Salzburg. Also, public transportation options were close.

The property is old, with many period features. It was quirky, the great mountain views in a wonderfully walkable location to explore the old town.

We were only in Salzburg for 2 nights but we enjoyed our stay. Hotel had very comfortable and clean rooms, location was close enough to walk into town. Only thing we didn’t like was we had to turn our key in every time we left and pick it up when we got back. Anybody could have walked in and asked for our room # key and they would have no idea because the front desk employee changed shifts.

Located in a quiet neighborhood about a kilometer away from the railway station and the main tourist attractions. There is no room cooling unit so only cooling was provided by opening a window. Coffee/tea making facilities are not provided in the room. Lift is available. Clean and old fashioned European style hotel.
