Great hotel walking distance from all of Salzburg

Hotel needs refreshing. Bed was soft, not very good support. Room was generally well kept, but carpet and curtains felt a little dusty. No bin for rubbish in room. Shower folding door was fiddly, and ventlation not very good. No coffe/tea maker in room, although you can ask fir flask of hot water. Staff friendly and helpful. Some staff more knowledgable about surrounding restaurants and cafes. Convenient location for those who drive ... close by to large carpark, hotel provides a small discount.

There was too much furniture in a small room. There would be more space if some of it was removed. Otherwise we were very happy with the hotel. The location was great. It was very quaint which we liked. Coffee would also be a nice perk. Thank you.

Excellent hotel, friendly staff and so close to everything

This is a nice hotel to stay at, at a short period and if there is not a heat wave. Overall, our stay was fine and it had great accommodating staff. They were even more so during our stay, as our hotel room did not have air conditioning. We thought we did our due diligence in researching hotels in Salzburg, but alas, we had a couple of sleepless nights due to no air conditioning. The room itself is quite small, there's not a lot of space to move and the shower is very small. If it wasn't for the "no refunds," we would have left. But, because of the wonderful staff, our stay ended up not so bad. Also, cooler weather made the room a bit more comfortable.

The front desk could not have been better. The young lady in the evening was incredible and gave us perfect directions to places we would want to see in Salzburg. The two people on the front desk during the day were absolutely charming

Nice hotel in a quiet area within walking distance to main tourist area and close to bus services. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very good central location. Quiet. Very helpfull staff. However, room very, very small and limited choice for full breakfast.

We had the klein/small room - it was just what we expected, a bit tight with two people walking around but not bad . I wish there had been air conditioning, as we couldn't open the window with the construction outside our room. However, everything was clean, the staff was kind, and we loved the location. It was a short walk from the train station, Mirabelleplatz, St. Andrew's Church, and more. We would stay there again, definitely.
