Easy to check in. Great location centre of Tarbert. Comfortable bed and liked the breakfast tray delivery too.

If you have a 2nd floor room it's 4 flights of stairs, ok for us but might be a challenge for older guests.

"Great French pressed coffee."

It was in the heart of Tarbert. Room was big. Breakfast was prompt and could order exact amounts of what we wanted. The coffee was French pressed! So good!

Picture of outside building is big. Entrance is small. Building is right on the corner - across street from Co-Op. Odd breakfast nook to eat….but good view.

The guest house is beautifully decorated and the room was very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the harbour too. Alan was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and hot, delivered on a tray to the room. The local amenities were fabulous and the location is ideal for the Kennacraig ferry terminal.

There was nothing to not like.

"Perfect night stay very homely."

Morning roll was superb. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. The welcome cheese & wine was a lovely touch.

It was ideal for catching the ferry to Islay next morning. Room was well equipped and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was good but didn't like it served in our room.

Didn't like the breakfast being served in the room as it was a bit cramped. The guest house is on the main road. We were in room 4 and lorries going for the ferry woke us at 5am. I suppose this can't be helped and it's not the fault of the guest house but if you're a light sleeper it's not ideal.

We stayed for just one night and everything was fine. As we left very early in the morning we've had no breakfast so that we can't say anything about it.
