Hampton Inn by Hilton Leesville Fort Johnson

The room was nasty. Stained carpet. The bottom of the toilet had black hair and pee all over it. Ask to have it cleaned. Did not happen. Under a bridge would have been a nicer place to stay. They staff was rude and had no knowledge of how anything worked. Was not offered any of the ammonites that comes with being a diamond member.

It was nice

Cricket infestation is an understatement. I had to leave towel by my door when I left or stayed in my room. The management staff is very unfriendly and confrontational. On top of that, they up-charge contractors that are working to support the federal government.

Check in seemed long. They needed all my info even though I used Hotels.com. I was given keys to a room that had not been cleaned at all. It looked like someone might have still be staying in it. I go back to the front desk and they switched my rooms. When I tried to use my room key this time it did not work. I was then informed that most of the rooms on the first floor, the key pads were not working. Had to be let into my room anytime

I booked a Jacuzzi room and when i got to hotel to check in i was not moved to another room nor was i offered a discount. i was put in the jacuzzi room and was told i could not use the jacuzzi. The room also smelled bad. My remote did not work and all i was offered was batteries.

Pool was nice, good breakfast, clean

Vending machines almost all out of drinks, and halls are very hot, shower water never got hot

The hallway on the 4th floor felt like a sauna. Our key fob didn’t work the entire stay we had to be inconvenienced by asking front desk to let us in each time. The night clerk tried to accommodate by allowing a late check out but the morning receptionist told us he didn’t have the authority and that it would cost us for a late checkout.

The staff were excellent and very courteous. The breakfast was awesome with a great variety. Rooms were cool, quiet, and clean.

There was construction going on based a bad storm with workers just walking the halls. Made an uneasy feel at times. Also there were ants all over ac unit and curtains.

Room was not clean. They left the coffee pot with coffee in the bathroom. Room smelled terrible. Check in was terrible super slow, many requirements and no empathy as we were checking in at 2 am in the morning
