Hilton Garden Inn Mardin

Stayed two nights on a group tour. Super clean hotel looks like new. Seems popular with groups. Great views from the room and the outside bar. Not much walkable in the vicinity of hotel. Exploring Mardin was interesting and authentic. Hotel had good breakfast buffet and we ate there both evenings (group set menu). There is a small self service laundry down the stairs from reception and some attendant was willing to do the laundry for a small tip plus laundry charge. Also the barman was very obliging serving drinks in bar and restaurant. It was a very comfortable stay.

De kamers waren naast elkaar. Er was een deur tussen de twee kamers wat heel fijn was, want zo kon je gwn telkens heen en weer, zonder dat je de buitendeur moest gebruiken.

I had some trouble sleeping because the room was quite warm. When I mentioned it to the staff, they explained that it was cold outside, which I understand. However, the room still felt uncomfortably warm. The suggestion was to keep the window open, which I tried, but since it only opens slightly, it didn’t make much difference. Overall, the hotel is very nice and clean. I hope you might consider giving guests more control over the room temperature in the future.
