Hotel Schweriner Hof

Das Hotel liegt zentral, an einem Markt mit großen Parkplatz (gebührenpflichtig). Ein Lift ist vorhanden. Das Zimmer war durch das Bett nahezu ausgefüllt. Die Beleuchtungsmöglichkeiten waren passend. Das Bad ist großzügig und angenehm modernisiert. Das Frühstück hielt eine große Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken bereit. Nebenan ist ein italienisches Restaurant.

Die Fenster waren umständlich zu öffnen. Wenig Platz, Doppelfenster und lange Vorhänge.

Lovely little hotel at a great vantage point in the old town of Stralsund. Comfy and clean rooms. The breakfast was simple but amazing, especially the scrambled eggs!

If you're a light sleeper you might want to think this through. Being situated right next to a cathedral, the bell tolls frequently and the insulation is not too effective. The rooms would also benefit from real black out curtains, as the room lights up with the first morning light.

Zentrales Hotel mit großem öffentlichem Parkplatz vor der Tür. Das Tagesticket liegt aktuell bei 6 Euro/Tag. Als Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge gut geeignet. Gute Betten, Frühstück vollkommen in Ordnung.

Qualität des WLAN könnte deutlich besser sein, oft schleppend

Basic breakfast, good loocation. Easy parking on the square in front of the hotel for only Euro 6 per 24 hours.

Narrow bed which was not so confy. Extremely long way to walk from the entrance to the room.

Reasonable location with good breakfast options nearby. Room was spacious and comfortable.

When we got up in the morning there was no hot water for much of the hotel. We approached the receptionist to get clarification as we needed to shower after a very long trip the day before. The receptionist was quite officious and expressed no real regret on behalf of the hotel and we couldn't get our needed shower before we had no move on. We weren't offered any compensation until we pushed on the matter and after insisting, we we're offered a meager 10% reduction because of our inconvenience. The aggravation of the failure of the hot water was only increased by the inappropriate reaction of the receptionist. There was no manager to whom we could speak on site so our receptionist couldn't do more, to which we felt we were entitled. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Good location in central area. Large public square paid car parking outside the hotel. Motorcycle parking was at the opposite end but parking attendant let me park, for free, overnight outside the hotel. Small gestures like that leave a good impression.

It's a lovely old building - but the floors aren't level !
