Astir Of Naxos

Evagelia and her family run this property with a passion for comfort and cleanliness. We loved how walkable the location was. The casual yet professional atmosphere around the property ensured a pleasant stay for our family. Would absolutely book here again.

An excellent, family run hotel. We visited three islands on this three week holiday with Astir coming in top of the hotels for so many reasons. The location is perfect, located in a quiet spot, five minutes from the beach and a large supermarket, bus stop and atm. Ten minutes walk across the wooden walkway along the beautiful beach to the town, restaurants, castle, port, museum. The breakfast at the Astir is superb, traditional as well as eggs, bacon, fruit, home made cakes and so much more. The swimming pool is fabulous, always plenty of sun beds with parasols available. We had a “ standard” room, nothing standard about it, it was excellent with a balcony, chairs etc. This was the tenth Greek island we’ve visited and with out doubt, one of the best islands and hotel. We will certainly return to the Astir when we return to visit the rest of this fabulous island. Evagelia along with her son Vassilis and daughter Maria are perfect hosts. Highly recommended.

The staff were wonderful, kind, helpful and very hospitable. The pool Is nice. The breakfast good. The location is close to beach but not as close to town as we hoped for. Clearly family owned and they spend a lot of time taking care of guests. The Greek warmth is most heartily felt by the guests. The beds were good and the room was clean.

The rooms need serious renovation, specially the bathrooms. Every time you take a shower the entire bathroom floods. The set up for the shower, hand to over head is not ideal and did not work. Furniture in the room is dated.

Really lovely family-run hotel, very clean and comfortable and all the staff warmly welcoming. Delicious breakfasts (coffee is good quality instant; lots of teas). Close to the best (to us) entry point of St George beach, undeveloped to the left and sunbeds, bars etc to the right.

Everything was PERFECT! Eva the owner with her daughter are AMAZING persons! They really care with your staying. The hotel is super good located and super clean! The breakfast fresh and tasty! We have absolutely nothing to complain! Would comeback million times!

THE best complimentary breakfast I've ever had...and the cleanest swimming pool, too! The owners treated us like family. This was my second visit to Naxos and would recommend Astir to everyone...an awesome stay !

The hotel is kept immaculate and the staff very accommodating especially Eva the owner.
