"A two night stay which was ok"

As a good a location as we could get in the area

Needs a bit of a refurb. Although it had a restaurant the menus were very expensive

This hotel is reminicent of a typical French auberge from 25 years ago - basic accommodation, very good food, and a warm welcome. The friendliness of the host ensures that any misgivings are overcome.

Although the bedroom was comfortable, the decor in general was very dated and certainly could do with updating, especially the entrance from the car park which created an immediate concern.

we were able to book a table for dinner

when we arrived we were told by an elderly rather unwelcoming man that we didn’t have a booking. This only got sorted when a more efficient young woman arrived.
