Luxuriös ausgestattet, toller Service, sehr gute Küche

Everything was remarkable

It is very beautiful - decor a bit dated but it’s charming and spotless. Staff were attentive, warm and friendly. Though we arrived a little before checkin time our room was ready and we were upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. We enjoyed a trip to the spa with complimentary robes. Breakfast was very good and the servers again were warm and helpful.

One minor thing- I visited the bar after dinner and requested a glass of dry white wine and some sparkling water. I didn’t ask to view a list, I left it to the barman’s discretion. The next day I saw it was €22 on my bill, I thought this was a bit steep to serve me without mentioning the cost first. But service was friendly.

Hotel in un bellissimo palazzo storico, ambienti comuni molto belli le foto sono esattamente veritiere e la struttura, soprattutto da fuori o nella hall, è molto bella colazione buona inoltre la signora che si occupava della sala durante la colazione era molto gentile e professionale, ti accoglieva con un bel sorriso e gentilezza materasso molto comodo

la nostra camera era al 2° piano ma ascensore arriva solo fino al 1° piano, cosa molto scomoda con i bagagli avevamo prenotato questo hotel per goderci una bellissima Spa ma la piscina nella spa era fredda ( mi aspettavo fosse calda e piacevole, invece era molto fredda) il bagno turco non aveva un buon odore, le docce non funzionavano bene, la struttura ad infrarossi non funzionava abbiamo quindi goduto solo della sauna, con grande delusione la nostra camera si affacciava su una bellissima chiesa, peccato che le campane della chiesa suonassero spessissimo rendendo poco piacevole il soggiorno la tende nella stanza non isolavano in modo sufficiente dalla luce, per cui ero sveglio all'alba sicuramente le mie aspettative erano molto superiori e sono rimasto deluso

7 years ago was the first time I stayed in this hotel. I always had very fond memories of my experience and wanted to come back to enjoy the experience again. Unfortunately our stay left a lot to be desired. The classic double room we were given was outdated and in need of care. No A/C on these rooms. Service was friendly but very scarce. Called twice for assistance and was promised someone would attend to my requests and nobody showed up. After 30 minutes of wait I decided to speak with the manager. I explained my room problems and was given a new room that had everything the other one lacked. Recently refurbished, A/C and also nice view. Our dinner at their emblematic restaurant was a total disappointment. I have been in many Michelin starred restaurants and this one is on the bottom of the list. The restaurant has great ambience but that is it. Food is very "a la Michelin" (small portions well presented) the food quality is good but nothing to celebrate about. Service was below average, I had too work very hard to get the attention of a waiter to ask him to serve more water. At the end I gave up and picked up the bottle of water and served it myself. The whole experience was grotesquely overpriced. A small dish of carrots 36 euros and a glass of italian white wine 17 euros(for europe its absurd, these are Miami or New York prices). The staff is very friendly and the location is magnificent. I can only hope that with time things will improve at this emblematic hotel.
