Stuart House Hotel

Stayed for one night on cycling tour around Norfolk, able to store bikes safely. good size rooms, good size food portions and freshly made. Staff approachable. Felt it was rather odd dining in the bar area and not in the restaurant space despite being fairly busy. Breakfast tasted great but a little let down that there were not enough bowels or plates out for self serving cereals. could do with some redecoration in one of the room stayed in with wallpaper pealing.

Staff friendly enough. Small gardens very nice and sufficient. Sausage for breakfast nice. Very dog friendly - we’re given a sausage per dog per meal.

Bedroom very basic and needs modernising. Preferably no carpet for dog rooms. Food was not up to standard. Frozen food reheated… Poached egg hard, bacon overcooked.

Very helpful staff - let us leave our 2 cars for 4 nights while we cycled around Norfolk

Such a welcoming place to stay. It struck me how happy the staff were and how customer focused they are. My room was spacious , beautifully furnished and comfortable. I had a ground floor room at the front of the hotel and was concerned I might have interrupted sleep but all was quiet and I slept well.

Breakfast was average. Evening meals were quite good. Location was good and very quiet, we were able to walk into the town via ‘The Walks’ through the park.

Shower wasn’t good being in the bath.

Location to town center is good. Breakfast was filling and hot. The hotel bar is very handy and welcomed.

I struggled to open my window. Ground floor room.
