Got upgrade on room as It was my birthday was lovley King size bed very smart indeed

Very friendly and accommodating staff and welcoming hotel. Breakfast was cooked fresh, and good choice of breakfast menu both hot and continental Lovely to have the pool, showers were a little small and the pool could of been a little warmer. Overall a great location, unique decor and places to relax. We didn't use the gin bar as we found if a little expensive

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The farmhouse had lovely furnishings. The swimming pool was a bonus.

We weren't expecting the room to be outside, away from the farmhouse. The food and bar were very expensive, so after the first meal, once you realised, you had to eat and drink elsewhere. The pool had a different code to enter daily and you had to collect that and a towel from reception, so had to go outside and walk to the farmhouse to get it. There was no phone in the room, despite registering this at reception 3 times from the start of our stay. The housekeeping staff shouted to each other disturbing us. The room was never cleaned, just restocked and the last day, we had to go and ask for more toilet rolls and tissues as by 3.30pm, the room had not been serviced and the toilet rolls were issued 1 at a time. The room was not 4 star. They seemed to have insufficient staff, so sometimes the service was poor and some staff could be rude perhaps because they were overworked. For the money we paid for 5 nights, it was not worth it. An upgrade/refreshing and staff training are required to earn 4 stars and the high prices charged.

Bed was really comfortable bathroom was spacious and the shower was amazing great facilities pool was a little on the cold side but beautiful would highly recommend for a getaway and I will definitely be returning at some point.
