Metropole Hotel

Good hotel, old but not run-down at all. Friendly staff; comfy bed; cute, clean and cheap room; good breakfast; lots of parking spots. Absolutely recommended and would go back when in Torquay. Thanks for everything. 🙂

All staff at the hotel was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean and our room was lovely, the bed was very comfy and nice pillows. The shower was brilliant and water was very hot, the breakfast was hot and very tasty with a good menu choice.

Located close to all amenities but not to close that you would hear noises etc Staff made us feel very welcome Room was great ..very clean with tea/coffee Breakfast was good as well ..value for money

Shower …getting temperature right …shower head leaking if on strong Sink hot water tap needs looking at as found if not screwed properly water trickled out

It was just great value for money. Was only visiting for a family funeral…so only needed a bed for the night and breakfast, but it offered great facilities. Will definitely be going back.

Nothing - it’s all good

Liked plenty of free parking, the room was clean and comfortable, bathroom with walk in shower was great and modern. The beds was really comfortable slept like a baby , and the hotel was quite with no doors banging.

Took us a little while to find the small lift to our room, not very well signed, we were told through the double doors, however it was the next left turn from reception, so we were walking all theses different corridors to find the lift, in the end we used the stairs but we did find the lift in the end.

Spacious room with a sea view; excellent breakfast choices; pleasant staff, particularly helpful receptionists; great location for Abbey Sands; spacious parking.

Electricty tripped once we touched two specific sockets in the room; this needs fixing. It would not stop us from returning, however, as the experience was otherwise very good.
