Michael was very pleasant / helped us with our luggage and stayed at his desk until we arrived (late !)

Amazing place

The host was good and gave us complimentary breakfast.

Very old and not very clean.

The host, Michael, was affable and helpful. I'm somewhat loath to leave this honest review, as he may be doing his best to restore a derelict property, but he's been at it for 20 years, by his own account.

In fairness, at least one room (201) looks quite nice; however, our room (203) was dingy, smelly, poorly ventilated, and sparsely furnished, with numerous holes in the walls. The carpet was in good shape, and the room was moderately clean, although the bathroom had some mold in the shower. The breakfast, cooked to order, was good, but the carpet in the dining room was appallingly stained and old. I'd have thought that would be a priority renewal item.

Clean room. Great shower. Lovely breakfast Michael was a fantastic host.

The decor could do with a makeover.
