Everywhere was immaculate. There was an amazing choice for breakfast – not just your standard full English – and the food was beautifully cooked. The hosts were fabulous and immediately felt like old friends, offering great advice on walks and eating out.

Our two‑night stay at The Berburry was exceptional from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed by Wendy and Steve, who showed genuine consideration throughout our visit. The thoughtful Easter notes, chocolates, and complimentary cake slices were lovely touches. It even smells good with a lovely fragrance. ✨ What Stood Out • Spotless standards — Our room (No. 7) was immaculate, and this level of perfection extended throughout the entire guest house. The décor is clean, modern, and exactly in keeping with the standard we expect. Other reviews describe it as “spotless,” and that is no exaggeration. • Exceptional service — The breakfast waiter delivered outstanding customer service. There genuinely wasn’t a single aspect of our stay that we disliked — everything from the spotless room to the warm hospitality and thoughtful touches met our expectations.

The place is just a lovely place to stay

Everything was excellent, the rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. There is a bar area for guests giving a great place to relax with friends. The room we had was recently decorated, including the bathroom. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choices.
