Residence il Cedro

Underbart ställe med en jätte bra service. Mysigt , nära till allt. Stad , strand. Ganska mycket trafik ner på gatan.

Nemohu úplně dobře hodnotit CEDRO. Z důvodu naplněnosti ubytování jsme byli nakonec ubytováni v hotelu 3* Lado di Garda v centru Malcesine i se snídaní. Děkujeme za toto řešení i přístup k ubytování psa. V našem termínu "velikonoce" je u hotelu trochu rušno, což bylo znát hlavně v noci. Snídaně menší, ale na Itálii asi standartní. První noc jsme měli výhrady k typu postele, během dne, ale vedení hotelu problém vyřešilo. Za mě skvělé místo pro ubytování v rámci centra Malcesine.

Очень уютная, чистая квартира: гостиная с кухней, спальня - из каждой комнаты выход на просторную террасу с потрясающим видом на озеро Гарда, горы. Рядом (на машине 2 мин) большой супермаркет. До озера пешком 5 мин. Отличный променад по берегу озера, можно на велосипеде. В шаговой доступности центр городка с магазинами, ресторанчиками и т.п., канатная дорога в горы. Прекрасное место для отдыха после экскурсий по прекрасным городам Италии!

Dejligt hotel og god service, som ligger i et godt område med adgang til hele søen. Udsigten er super flot og skøn pool

Wir haben dort mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei fast erwachsenen Kindern für drei Nächte gebucht und haben uns insgesamt wohl gefühlt. Die Anlage selbst ist wirklich gepflegt, unser Appartment hatte einen kleinen Gartenanteil. Zum Pool kann ich nichts sagen, er sah sehr gepflegt und sauber aus, aber wir haben ihn nicht genutzt. Trotz direkter Nähe zur Gardesana Durchgangsstraße fühlten wir uns abends "im Garten" durch den Verkehr nicht gestört. Das Appartment war mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet von Mikrowelle bis Kaffeekocher und Föhn über Besteck, Geschirr und einwandfrei funktionierendem WLAN alles da. Allerdings ist das Appartment mit vier Personen bis aufs Letzte ausgenutzt. Die Wohnküche ist mit ausgezogenem Schlafsofa und kleinem Rundtisch sowie den Stühlen praktisch belegt. Bei schlechtem Wetter und eventuell kleinen Kindern mit Sicherheit kein Spaß! Positiv ist die Tiefgarage, die jedoch eher noch für die kleineren italienischen Autos dimensioniert wurde. Mit den aktuellen Mittel- oder Oberklassewagen ist es sehr eng. Einen SUV möchte ich nicht täglich rangieren. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und bemüht und eine Verständigung in deutsch ist absolut problemlos. Etwas ungünstig fand ich die Möglichkeit der Bezahlung, die ist nämlich mit Karte nur im dazugehörigen Hotel in Malcesine möglich - was aber z.B. mit einem Essen am letzten Abend verbunden werden kann. Für Gäste des "Il Cedro" gibt es im Hotel 10%Rabatt.

Mir hat es im Il Cedro gut gefallen. Die Apartments waren groß, geräumig und gut ausgestattet (Mikrowelle, Handtücher, Föhn, Klopapier, Safe). Die Inhaberin des Hotels war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einbisschen chaotisch ging es in der Hotelgarage zu, da es keine festen Plätze für die jeweiligen Zimmer gab und es sehr eng war (uns ist dort jemand beim ausparken ans Auto gefahren). Der Pool war etwas klein, aber trotzdem gut für eine Abkühlung, leider hört man die Hauptstraße sehr, wenn man am Pool liegt bzw. auf dem Balkon sitzt, was nicht so angenehm war. Zum See sind es zu Fuß nur ca. 3 Min. Allerdings ist man dann nur auf der Promenade und nicht an einem Strand, wo man mit seinen Handtüchern liegen kann. Für einen längeren Strandaufenthalt musste man nochmal ca. 10 min. weitergehen zur nächsten Bucht/Liegewiese. An der Promenade konnte man nur über kleine Treppen ins Wasser gehen. Allerdings kann man hier sehr schön spazieren gehen und im Zentrum von Malcesine ist man zu Fuß in 10 min. Alles in allem war es ein recht schöner Aufenthalt. Beim nächsten Mal würden wir aber wieder ein Hotel abseits der Hauptstraße nehmen. Zudem fand ich die Apartmentspreise im Vergleich zu anderen Anlagen etwas überteuert.

The apartment was clean and roomy with a lovely view over the lake. The Lady who looked after the apartments was friendly and helpful and was waiting to let us in when we arrived in the night. The location is excellent, just out of the main town but only a short walk, 5-10 minutes to the centre. Although there is only reception cover for a couple of hours a day at the most the sister hotel is easy and convinient to find in the town and again reception there are very helpful if you need anything. We would happily stay here again.

Il residence è un po' datato ma decoroso, ha tutte le caratteristiche necessarie per passare una tranquilla vacanza. I locali sono ampi e confortevoli, se necessario si può usufruire dell'aria condizionata, le dotazioni sono compete, la piscina ed il giardino completano il tutto. L'unica nota negativa è la posizione sulla gardesana che è molto trafficata durante il giorno, mentre dalle 22 alle 7 non c'è traffico.

We loved our trip to Lake Garda! We're on a 3 months trip to Italy, been to Rome, Firenze, Venice and now Garda, this residence (this is an apartment, not a hotel) is 1 km away from Malcesine, the most amazing little town I've ever seen so far. The location has good view, but there are many things to take into consideration - 1. Nearest supermarket is 1 km away (9 min walk), you have to walk on a main road with no sidewalk, it's pretty scary. 2. There's a bus stop right below the residence, but bus frequency from Peschiera Train Station is low - it should be every hour but we waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for it to show up. The hotel can arrange a transportation for 47e. 3. Prices of restaurants and cafeteria are twice as expensive then the rest of Italy. At Rome and Firenze latte macchiato costs 1.3e, while here it's 3 to 3.5e. 4. Room won't be cleaned until you leave, even if it's more than one week, towels and linnen are replaced once a week. We've been there 2.5 weeks but got only 1 extra toilet paper. 5. The nearest laundry service is in Malcesine, so you'll have to carry it 1.4 km in bags, pay 10e for WASH ONLY, carry wet and heavy cloth back to residence and hang them to dry. BTW the laundry owner can decide that your 4 kg laundry is 15 kg and charge you for 20e, she determines it by using her hand as an accurate weighting device. 6. Since on the main road, there's a lot of noise in room. But still we enjoyed this place a lot, it was perfect for us.

this accomodation is situated in a really good location very close to the 'tourist bus' stop and to the path leading down to the lakeside walk. Malcesine is less than 15 mins stroll away. The pool and gardens are nice but a little upkept. The room was a ground floor apartment and was clean except for spider webs which are impossible to keep on top of so we can overlook this. the style is 1970's and is adequate for a family holiday but would be nicer if modernised. only negative points are the absence of a kettle and toaster in the room and the proffessionalism of the owner. we arrived very late to check in due to no fault of our own but the owner was very rude and unprofessional towards us. This was all forgotten the following day and she was friendly for the remainder of the holiday.
