Treebo Corporate Park

The hotel was tidy, within walking distance to the metro, had bottled water in the room and included breakfast. there was a communal sitting area and lime filtered water in the lobby. the rooms were a fine size, had tv and fridge and big beds. The breakfast had a good amount of both western and indian options.

Finding the hotel was a challenge. We took an uber from the airport in the end and it was in a housing sort of estate section so the uber had an issue trying to find entry into the estate as some of the gates were locked. In saying that we also had issues when leaving the hotel to go out for the day or for dinner as different gates closed at different times and we would walk to a gate and find we were locked in and have to find another gate. Theres the CR Park Market nearby on the other side of the road but to get there you have to go over this overpass thing which coupled with finding a gate out of the estate is a bit time consuming. Check in was a bit messy. It was almost like they weren't expecting us. They are not very digital with you having to fill out a hotel guest book with your details and they take a photocopy of your passport that you sign which is usual for most hotels i think but we noticed it more here in India. We had no issues with our room though the bathroom is quite small and you have to turn the hot water system on and wait for it to heat up before showering. Our friend though was kicked out of her room when she was getting ready to shower (we have no idea why, some mix up with the room they gave her?) and ended up with a room where the shower didnt work and had to wash herself out of a bucket. Reception took a copy of the wrong page of another one of our friends passport and stopped us as we were leaving for dinner to take another copy. They have a metal detector at the front door which you walk through which beeps because we all have phones and coins but nobody seems to care. The hotel doesnt actually have Treebo Trend signage but we were able to find it anyway. Thank god for offline Google Maps.
