Cascada de las Animas

We enjoyed all the extra activities- hike to the waterfall, massage, pool, and particlarily river rafting with Simon. It was amazing.

Nice location at the end of San Alfonso with lots of activities to chose from that are all guided. Breakfast was lovely with many items served at the table in the restaurant overlooking the river. We stayed in a river chalet and enjoyed it a lot.

We sadly chose items for dinner that were hugely overpriced and not nice (lamb which turned out to be mutton and mostly bone for nearly US$30 was really not recommendable). Would chose to eat elsewhere. Property prides itself in being nature conservationist but they keep birds and Pumas in enclosures as tourist attraction which we found hugely inappropriate.

Beautiful location and lots of activities available

We had a bit of trouble as none of the staff spoke any English, and we don’t speak much Spanish (our bad!)-but it made it not possible to DO any of the activities

Great food. Unique accommodations right next to the river! Friendly and helpful staff.

El recinto es hermoso, lamentablemente el servicio a la habitación deja mucho que desear, las tinajas al llegar estaba con el agua sucia, la piscina del lodge en mantencion, el restaurante bueno hasta que el segundo día a mi señora le salió tremendo pelo en los ravioles, reclamamos y se demoraron más de 20 minutos en traernos el nuevo plato. Finalmente no almorcé y nos fuimos sin ni siquiera una disculpa. Finalmente para que pague no quede conforme, no volvería nuevamente.
