Great spacey rooms with a balcony and a lot of place to move around which was really nice, the owners are very informative and extremely nice to talk to - and can help you with everything that you need. For me the best place to stay in town.

Maybe the bed could be just a bit more comfortable

The best thing of this property is the host - Vivek . His wife was away on vacation so i was unfortunate to receive her hospitality . Vivek vibes are super excellent. What a gentleman. The place is a home/ villa converted to a business. It’s not a hotel . The sweet cute puppy dog is the well behaved in the world. Im guilty of feeding him tit bits during my breakfast. The place is not far from the beach - just a 5-7 mins walk.

The place has no elevator. Stairs to climb- although Vivek helped me with my bags. Thanks Vivek. The place is not a hotel so it does not have that vibe. It’s a lot quieter and dark- maybe a slow music can make it lively. The room cleaning staff was on holiday bcoz of national holiday. I had to compromise by not getting house keeping. The toilet does not have a bidet shower. This is becoming a very important thing for travellers. Water cleaning of private parts is the bestest . Using toilet paper immensely is not good for environment. Lots of tender trees are cut and crushed to make rolls of toilet paper.

The hosts were amazing and really caring! Lena and Vivek are so welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. They were flexible with the payment and they were always reachable in case I needed something! The location is amazing, just a short 6 min walk from the center of grand bai! Would definitely recommend this place!!

The property is situated exactly where it says on the site. Vivek and Lena are a wonderful couple who take pride in running this lovely stay and do everything in their power to educate travelers about the activities they can take part in, places they can visit, food they can try. The rooms are clean and well ventilated. The system of locking the gates to the guest accommodation with an individual key offers security. It's proximity to all the places of interest in grand baie is convenient whether you are looking to have street food, food in a French restaurant or food in a creole restaurant or simply sit on a beach. It's also very close to a large super market which will help you buy your little supplies if you are looking for them.

I loved the attitude of willingness to assist from the owners of Auberge Miko..they never said no to anything..they were friendly, helpful and o so friendly. Vivek would not allow us to carry our bags of groceries to the 2nd floor..he did it all. My stay was so pleasant I would recommend them to all my families and friends. Would go back there in a heartbeat. I could not have wished for a better host. From my first interaction with him I knew my stay was going to be very memorable. I do not have the words to describe their pleasant, friendly and helpful demeanor.

Three minutes walk from the main road and bus services. Hosts were excellent and very friendly. Room was a studio, based on the ground floor and was clean and tidy. Cooking facilities provided, but not used. Shower area could do with some improvement, but generally no problems. Area was very safe and quiet, with restaurants on the main road and shops only a few minutes further walk a way.
