Horizon Manor Hotel

It was a good time, because everything's was close to the hotel.

Location was perfect

The hotel is fair for the price charged, good location, but the best was the free airport shuttle. The worst as the horrible bathroom smell.

It was amazing, I enjoyed fullest.

The room is huge but no carpet. All they have is a bed a small old closet

It was pleasant stay in Horizon Manor Hotel. Its one of the best hotel in Doha. I enjoyed the stay of 5 days in this Hotel. They arrange me the Airport Pick on the same day of my travel. They give me very good service...Nice and should try...

I stayed with a friend of mine for three nights and on the whole it wasnt a bad stay, a few things though really let this hotel down, first off we both found that most of the hotel staff were dis intrested and quite unhelpfull this started at check in with dis organised staff who had us standing around for over twenty minutes, the same staff who also tried to over charge me for spirits taken from the mini bar (i dont drink spirits). Our main disapointment with staff came in the resturant which we frequented for breakfast and evening buffet, we both found the staff to be very rude they basicaly stood around without a smile for anyone between them and the minute you were anywhere near finishing a meal or a drink they were on top of you trying to take your plate or glass all this aside the food was very nice and well priced. Another big disapointment was the run down state of the roof top terrace, most of the tiles around the pool were broken,tere were four dirty orange life saving rings in the water which were there for the four days we stayed, the jacuzy was broken the sauna and steam room turned of at the mains, no towels for the limited number of loungers six i think whch for a hotel this size is poor and on our last day no cushions on the loungers, we found all this very shabby for a hotel that has only been open three years. Thats the bad stuff out of the way, positives the two bars were good especially the irish pub great service, beer,food,and entertainment,same for club

Overall the staff was friendly, and most tried to be helpful, so I would like to give this hotel a higher rating. But -- there was no hot water in my room for two nights, even after they "fixed" it. In my first room, the electrical outlets were resistant to adapters and broke two. There was no proper desk - a little table with a cheap chair, with no lamp and especially no outlets, was unsatisfactory. Internet connections were poor for the most part. A disco on the top (14th) floor could be heard quite distinctly on the 8th and 9th floors until 2AM. On the plus side - beds were comfortable, it was clean, and the restaurant was good. The new Souk is only a few blocks away, and the neighborhood of shops is preferable to the deadness of downtown Doha.

I enjoyed the stay, good room, good food, nice people, good swimming pool. The only minor point was the transparency of the windows. As you could offer a fantastic view on the bay and the skyline of Doha, it was disappointing how dirty the windows were and took away that view.

Had a nice stay at Savoy Suites. I liked it more than Savoy Park. Good size rooms, comfortable bed, nicely clean. Has a good location and easy to get taxis from
