Raiatea Lodge Hotel

Great service and location Food was great Bed was mildly uncomfortable

Hotel close to the lagoon that can be accessed using a pontoon.

The Raiatea Lodge could not have been better. 5 star service, food, everything. Amazing place. When we booked it I thought the price was a little bit high, but after being there it was so worth it! From the greeting upon arrival, to the service while there, and the amenities this place rocks! The front desk staff spoke English, which was very helpful as we do not speak French. Highly, highly recommend it!!

No mega hotels here. Nice small hotel, flowers and juice welcome. Excellent snorkeling off dock. Clean rooms and nice staff. Great restaurant. You should get car to drive around. Not much in town but we were here for sailing. I would go to moorea instead if you are looking for best island and hotels. Bora bora is too expensive and totally focused on resorts

Expensive for what you get. Rooms were basic. It was nice to have bicycles available. Pool area not nicely landscaped.

We arrived after a long flight and a short inter island flight to the hotel staff meeting us at the airport gate for a short ride to the hotel. We were greeted with welcome drinks, a cool towel and personal orientation for the hotel and island. The hotel restaurant was the best that we experienced and the large continental breakfast was presented in such a fun and elegant way, and tasted great!

overall i realy like this happy place. the staff is very friendly and well organized! dont think, just go there and relax! the food is also excellent!

Rooms are motel style and the shower is tiny. No hair dryer or coffee/tea making amenities provided in room. Canoes provided but no paddle boards. When you add up the cost of room with the added breakfast it is not the best value for money compared to what you can get in a beach bungalow in a neighboring island.

We really loved this hotel, the staff was amazing, and we felt so welcome and relaxed. We thought the food was the best we had on our 4 week trip to the French Polynesian islands and Kauai. Try the lamb, it was excellent and a nice change from all the fish we had on the trip. Keep valuables locked in the safe as the maid leaves the sliding doors open to air the room. Wifi is free, but only available in the lobby.
