The top deck measures 67.5 inches from floor to ceiling, and the lower deck is 71 inches from floor to ceiling. The staircase leading to the bedroom deck has been refurbished however it is steep and therefore is not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Lovely compact room, original style and clean. Comfy mattress. Complimentary water in the room was appreciated. Great to have the excellent restaurant downstairs and the bar area was super cosy. Special call out to Bruno in the restaurant who really looked after us well. All the staff were welcoming and cheerful. Excellent choice for breakfast.

Had to request a kettle as it was missing. We had room 10 which looks out onto a flat roof with the industrial venting from the kitchens - It was similar to the noise of an airplane. However, it was quieter overnight, so didn't disturb our sleep. There is a warning about noise on this room's details, but we'd assumed that referred to bar or restaurant noise. If you're sensitive to mechanical noises pick a different room!
