The hotel is quite run down and did not meet expectations. Our initial room had no window like showing in the pictures. No ventilation and instead of a double bed, there were two separate beds with a step between them, making it impossible to combine them. We were asked to pay extra to move to a room with a double bed and a window. The second room still had major issues. The wooden floors were very unstable and noisy—walking at night would wake the other person, and even furniture moved with the floor. The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable, causing back pain. Instead of duvets, there was only a very heavy blanket and we had to use the decorative cover to warm up. We also had to request an extra pillow from another room. Due to these problems, we had to cancel our last night and leave early. They refused to give us back the difference that we paid for the change of the room for the third night and they said the booking put a penalty even if the reservation was fully cancellable. Although the location is central, the downtown area of Quito feels deserted after 9 PM. We couldn’t find anywhere open to eat at 10 PM on a Monday.

A localização é perfeita, as camas confortáveis, dormi muito bem.

O café da manhã é bem limitado, não tem muitas opções. O chuveiro demorava para esquentar e as vezes não esquentava bem. O quarto era abafado, sem janelas.
