Friendly and helpful staff, good modern room, ideal location.

Domodorsala is a city in the high alps full of amazing views on every side and special little train going to lake locarna which is a lovely round trip for the day....this hotel is perfect as is right next to train station as well as bus services back down to lake towns in Italy...the town has a perfect setting of old churches and squares to walk about and background on the brave alpines men who bravely fought in the war. The hotel is run by young members of founding family are dedicated to bringing up to date services and a truly first class cuisine by the son that rivals any such establishment here or in the US.

The hotel is very nice, but even better is the restaurant, which is a gem. The staff are super nice and the location is convenient.

Certainly deserves a high rating. Newly renovated rooms which look modern and tastefully decorated. Gorgeous bathroom and big shower. Good choice at breakfast. Dinner was delicious. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Across the road from the train station but did not hear a single train. Would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed here en route to and from a ski touring trip. Choice was mainly based on proximity to train and bus stations, but very comfortable rooms, friendly/helpful owners, and a good breakfast.

Loved the restaurant and the family atmosphere. Three beds in our room and the one I had was terrible! Couldn't sleep and back ache next day. Super easy to find from train station and so convenient when we were ready to leave town. I would hope for a better bed next time and stay again.

Having paid twice the price for hotels from Geneva to Zurich, this hotel (on the Italian side) was really good value for money. Services were great and it's conveniently located across the road from the train station, yet we were not disturbed by any train sound. The cobble-stoned town was pretty quaint and boasts of a few good Italian restaurants. All in we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.
