The front desk and beach bar staff are very welcoming and helpful, with a special mention to Jordan for his friendliness and good service. The beach itself is beautiful, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. The view from the balcony and the hotel’s terrace is stunning, it offers a perfect spot to watch the sunset and take in the scenery. Parking is also very convenient.

The hotel management seems to prioritize rules over the warmth you’d expect from famous Italian hospitality. The pool, for reasons not explained, is closed for 2.5 hours in the middle of the day, and guests are required to wear swim caps even though it’s not a proper swimming pool. Breakfast and check-out are both set for 9:30 a.m., which also feels unusually early for a beach holiday hotel. The management also appears to focus heavily on upselling and finding additional ways to charge guests. For instance, despite being a 4-star property, beach towels are not included and can be rented at €4 per towel per day. If you book via Booking.com, you’re further penalized with a €16 daily fee for 2 guests for a card granting beach access. The hotel does warn you about this in advance via email and SMS ahead of the stay. The breakfast feels more like a basic B&B than a 4* hotel, as the options are very limited. The rooms themselves are quite dated and clearly haven’t been refurbished in many years. The pillows are not very comfortable, and the air conditioning is very poor, regardless of the temperature setting, it never cooled below 26°C, making the stay uncomfortable.
