Fantastic location overlooking Salzburg and the mountains! We had a pleasent stay and the owners were very helpful and gave us useful advice on Salzburg and the surroundings. Can strongly recommend!

Really nice boutique hotel overlooking the city of Salzburg. Enjoyed dinner & breakfast on the terrace with a stunning view. Rooms are spacious and the view is amazing. Great & friendly service! We loved our stay at Daxlueg!

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing from check-in to check-out. I travelled around Salzburg by myself for a few days and I honestly think my experience would have been different if it wasn’t for these guys. Their professionalism, advice and customer service was amazing. Don’t get me started on the mountain views here too.... I would honestly stay here again and I wish Kurt and his team all the best, thank you Daxluegstraße!

I stayed one night and i was really happy food was nixe size of room as well i will come back again . all staff was really kind. Just one think breakfest starts 8 am meybe 7 am could be better . so thanks and see u next time

Un très joli "petit" appartement avec une vue sur la terrasse et vue sur la ville endormie ... au matin, on s'aperçoit qu'il y a aussi les montagnes derrière. Le restaurant est très sympathique et bon, j'ai été très agréablement surpris et aimerait revenir dans un mois plus chaud pour profiter pleinement de la terrasse !!

Hotel has very nice rooms with plenty of space. Can't beat the view! The restaurant is also very good!

The most amazing view of Salzburg you will ever see. The hotel was incredibly clean and the staff was more than friendly! This is one of those "everything you hoped for you get and more" places. The rooms were nice and comfortable and clean! The only problem was the hot water was out the morning of our departure but it was due to a technical issue that was remedied quickly.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during our 2017 summer trip to Europe. First things first...this boutique hotel is located far away from the city centre, up among the mountains. You will be spending time & money to come up here, & go back down to the Salzburg city center and its not cheap The pluses?..the incredible views once you are here & the super friendly staff. The hotel is owned by 2 brothers & from check-in to cooking your breakfasts, and making sure you have everything you need..they do it all, and they do it with a smile. One very very important tip, as we did not know that when we visited Austria...most taxicabs will NOT accept credit cards & they only want cash. No one had told us that when we arrived in Salzburg. One of the brother-owners told us that there are probaaly only 10 cabs in the whole of Salzburg that accept credit cards due to the high fees. So when we wanted to go down to the ciy centre & didnt have enough Austrian currency to pay the cab..the brothers were nice enough to take us down..of course we added that charge to our total amount due upon checkout. Bottomline..stay here if you like warm personal service, a small boutique hotel & amazing views! If you want all the modern conveniences & to not have to wait to go up & down from the city, then maybe a hotel in the city is better suited for you.

The staff may be small but their hearts are big! Rooms are just the right size. Four of us stayed in a suite at the end of May. The breeze was wonderful at night. The menu was exquisite and the wait staff was wonderfully attentive. We had to leave extra early in the morning and the staff accommodated our departure efficiently.

Achtung Abzocke! Wir haben dieses Hotel aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen gebucht und uns schon sehr auf das Hotel gefreut. Da es sich laut Buchungsbestätigung um ein Hotel handelt das keine rund um die Uhr besetzte Rezeption hat, haben wir vor Ankunft versucht dieses telefonisch zu erreichen um über unsere Ankunftszeit zu informieren. Leider ist auch nach mehrmaligen Versuchen keiner ans Telefon gegangen. Wir sind lediglich in einer endlos Warteschleife gelandet. Als wir um 22.05 Uhr am Hotel vorgefahren sind war der Parkplatz wie leer gefegt. Und es war alles dunkel. Es brannte lediglich ein Licht im Erdgeschoss des Hotels. Alle Türen waren verschlossen. Und auch nach mehrmaligem klingeln und klopfen hat uns niemand aufgemacht. Auch hier haben wir wieder den telefonischen Weg gesucht und sind wie die Male zuvor lediglich in der Warteschleife gelandet. Wir haben ca 35 Minuten versucht jemanden zu erreichen der uns in das Hotel einchecken lässt. Da dies erfolglos war, wir von der Fahrt sehr müde waren und keinerlei Hoffnung darauf bestand das noch jemand erscheint haben wir leider ein anderes Hotel buchen müssen. Bei dem Versuch das Geld für die nicht erbrachte Leistung zurück zu erhalten wurde uns vom Hotelchef auf eine unverschämte Art und Weise gesagt das wir das Geld auf keinen Fall zurück erhalten. Wir hätten länger versuchen sollen das Hotel telefonisch zu erreichen und dass, das Zimmer anderweitig hätte vermietet werden können. (mit leidiglich einem PKW vor der Tür)
