Host wouldn’t provide access pin until a personal credit card details supplied

I booked for 8 people in seperate beds as the listing description stated this was possible with number of beds in property. When I spoke directly to the host I confirmed the number of beds I wanted, at no time did she inform me that she could not provide them. She also tried to make me pay an additional amount on top of booking. When we arrived at the property there were only beds for 6 people. When we contacted the host they were very argumentative but eventually agreed to give a partial refund as 2 persons had to find alternate accommodation and only 6 could fit in property and we paid for 8. No refund has been provided.

The area was a great central place for visitors with a car. Bedrooms were a great size and so were the bathrooms. Unfortnately we didnt get the appartment we thought, Amy Street which looked very light and airy. The colonial style house we got was not impressive. The furniture was dirty and stained. Kitchen chairs broken, when you pulled them up to the table, they would trap your hands and legs. The cupboards were dirtymessy and not at all to a standard for guests. Not even a kitchen sponge to eipe anything. When you travel you dont want to be buying cleaning ptoducts. If you want the house clean when we leave, at least supply basic cleaning product. We would not recommend this house to holiday .

The bathrooms were well appointed and clean Lots of room, and the washer and dryer were really good.

Hot pot was nasty had to boil water in a pan. All but the bathrooms were worn and old.

Easy check in, very spacious house

There was an empty biscuit wrapper in the ensuite sink suggesting thorough clean not conducted. Beds uncomfortable. Furniture broken, dining chair seat not attached to frame in kitchen. Dirty mugs in clean cupboard. Folder info not up to date and caused unnecessary confusion, e.g. forms instructed guests to sign contract and leave in mailbox at back door but no form provided. Water in bathroom kept going stone cold whenever anyone went to use other taps in house. Door in shower too heavy and tiny space to turn around in. Guests included 89year old who couldn't open the shower door. Many creaking noises from doors and clothes line kept children awake all night. Folder stated individual heating in each room as well as heated blankets and central reversible heating but there was no heating in the bedrooms apart from heated blanket and the back room of house had black tape holding the heated blanket control together. Main bedroom tv control only works for volume down, any increase in volume required looking for buttons on the side of the tv. We stayed here several years ago and enjoyed our stay at that time, maintenance since has fallen far below expectations. Will not be returning.

Loved everything about this house. Plenty of room for our family of four, nestled in a great location.

Sensational value considering this is an entire 4 bedroom home. It is beautifully furnished and fully equipped with everything and more than expected for our lovely stay. It has a tv in each of the main rooms and a big one in the lounge. There is a formal dining room with a fireplace and a small brekky table in the kitchen. The lounge room has a monstrous comfy leather corner lounge with a large coffee table, fireplace, tv unit equipped with DVDs games and I think even an older gaming console. The master room has a lovely big modern ensuite with a 🛁 and 🚿 and 🚽. All beds have electric blankets and the whole house has ducted heating. No keys to lose at this property as it just requires a security code to unlock side door off the driveway that has a secure gate giving access for vehicles. There is a decent sized grassed back yard and a decked patio with table and chairs to relax just outside the master bedroom which is next to laundry (yes, both a washing machine and dryer) to the left of the door you will gain access inside and the rest of the bedrooms and living areas are off to the right. Free wifi 😄

No Netflix or streamed tv. No big issue
