Charleston Eagle Inn

Not so clean, toilet not cleaned, grim in the corners, the pillows on the bed had a lot to be desired.... would not recommend.

Overall it was ok for the location room was clean bed comfy

I was driving through the area and just needed a place to stay for the night, so it got the job done, but it wasn't anyplace that I would select for any other reason besides just needing a place to sleep. There was only one staff member at the front desk when I arrived, and he wasn't super helpful with answering any questions I had. Also, the TV lost its connection a few times when I was watching it, and the fridge was unplugged when I got there. They didn't really seem to be prepared for whoever was staying there next at all.

No frills, location kinda creepy, and the room smelled faintly of marijuana, but a budget stay with no huge complaints!

The room was clean. The temperature stayed comfortable without having to fuss with the heating/cooling unit. The shower worked great. This was a great value.

We had reserved a King but were given a Queen. We paid Expedia $56.81 when we made the reservation. Even though we had the e-mail to prove it, the young male clerk had neither the ability or authority to fix this. He called the managed and was told that all the kings were taken. I saw only 10 cars in the parking lot late at night and early the next morning. The clerk suggested we take the problem up with the manager when we checked out in the morning. When we checked out the manager (Michelle) said that there was no difference between the cost of a King and a Queen. We were on a schedule and did not have time to argue. I believe she was LYING (like she did about all the Kings being taken). I feel that the manager (Michelle) cheated us out of $10-15.
