Hotel Aeropuerto Sur

I didn't like it at all. No shampoo or shower gel. I'm not recommending

This was my second stay at this hotel, which is a reasonably-priced hotel just a short bus ride from the airport. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. I can live with the old furniture, the spartan room, and the lack of hot food at breakfast. There are lots of interesting original artworks in the rooms and in the public areas, well worth a look.

Having already low expectations before arriving, reality was even worse. Very strong smell to cleaning products in all the hotel, a room with a window to the structure supporting the swimming pool in the rooftop without daylight (yes, the pool seems to be and add-on work that was placed taking half of the inner courtyard). However, the worst part was the bed, with a terrible mattress where it was difficult to sleep. At least everything was clean, especially the toilet, but this hotel needs an urgent update. Maybe I had bad luck and they have better rooms, but ours definitely didn't look like the ones in the photos. The best part is the restaurant in the ground floor. They had friendly staff and a nice lunch menu as well as good drinks in the evening, which is very convenient since there aren't many other places around. An emergency solution for overnight before going to the airport, but definitively not a place to plan holidays in.

Would have been a wonderful hotel if we'd never had to venture out of the room and through a corridor that smelt like something had died on it and was slowly decomposing. The artistic license of the photographer who advertised the roof top pool is second to none, all we can say is'photoshop' Then come the staff, on our arrival there was a friendly and helpful young man, unfortunately we did not see him again until our last evening. The rest of the staff need either several lessons in customer service or sacking, either would be helpful as they were rude, unhelpful and acted as if they did not really want to be there. This is our third trip to Tenerife in the last 7 months, this hotel is one we wouldn't recommend to our worst enemies

Arrived in San Isidro by public transport from Santa Cruz. The hotel was not well sign posted, but down a side street only a short uphill walk from the bus stop. The entrance is gloomy but clean. I arrived before 1pm but was able to store my luggage at the hotel without fuss or extra cost. After short bus rides to the airport and back I checked into a clean double room with an en suite, TV and balcony. The view was of a rubbish strewn building plot (for which the hotel could hardly be blamed!). Had I been able to check-in after 7am the bus fare would have been less than €3, but the early taxi cost €12. This basic airport hotel proved excellent value.

I stayed 2 nights as a solo traveller. Hotel OK although the bathroom was need to be upgraded. Strange shower/bath combination but plenty of hot water.

We came there saturday evening. Room in 1.st floor. At 8 pm hotel night club or whatsoever restaurant started very loud music and that was situation to 2am. Our flight was early so left hotel at 4 am. One hour sleep. Nightmare. Room not cleaned almost at all. If you are young and stay in the restaurant then this hotel is for you. Everyone else stay away.

Stayed one night. Not anywhere the best hotel I've stayed in but good for the price and the only one I found close to the Airport around that price range that had a pool, bar, and restaurant facilities. Free WiFi available downstairs, which was exceedingly easy to connect to. The staff were friendly and helpful. Food good value, not fancy, but did the job. Overall, a good option for a cheap stay before flying home.

Although the Staff, Rooms and Meals were very good and pleasant enough for my short stay. The main features of the hotel, namely the Pool, Pool bar,and the other facilities were all in a terrible state of repair, and had not been cleaned or updated in a number of years. The pool especially was filthy and littered with beer cans, food and other rubbish, and the water was unclean, let alone the need to be very agile just to be able to get to it.
