Hôtel du Trosy Clamart

This was a small but pleasant hotel in the outskirts of Paris. We chose it as it was within walking distance of relatives living in Clamart. To get to central Paris, we needed to take the public transit to the Metro or walk to the next town to get to the nearest RER train station. Not a big deal as the buses run frequently, however would need to purchase tickets. Luckily our relative had picked some up for us to use initially. Our hotel room was quite cramped but served our needs as we did not spend a lot of time there other than to sleep. The twin beds were narrow but very comfortable and provided a good sleep. Bedding was clean. The bathroom had all the amenities and we had fresh towels everyday. Overall, the room was fine, though not as clean as I would have expected. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and the rug was quite dirty. The bathroom could also use a more thorough cleaning. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was available - basics like pastries, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee etc. Could have used some fruit, though. All in all, we would likely stay in this hotel again, should the opportunity arise.

My experience was not good at all. No AC, No Elevator and my room was on the 3rd floor. The room was clean, but the lamp was broken.

Apart from being far from the center of Paris, in this hotel we had to carry our heavy baggage to the third floor(the lift was not operational), meaning every time you go out you have to climb the stairs, the internet connection was always down and the room had a terrible smell. Would not recommend.

Nice hotel, better than what we had expected. Note that it is quite a journey to get in to Paris: a walk to the bus stop, a bus ride for about 20 mins. Then a train for 20 mins. But knowing this before we booked, it wasn't really an issue. Room was nice although some street noise can be heard - nothing too bad. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel. Overall a pleasant place to stay out of Paris, if you don't mind traveling.

On arriving to the hotel the staff were very friendly, we were given our key but were not told which floor we were on so was a guessing game really! The lady doesn't speak very good English but rightly so as Clamart is quite a while away from the tourist areaa of Paris. Clamart is just an average suburb, not much to mention. Though the train station is AGES away from the hotel! Our room was exceptionally clean and compact, no tea and coffee facilities in the room though (didn't bother us) I would recommend a stay here if perhaps you want a quieter visit to Paris and wouldn't recommend to anyone with difficulty walking. Great stay for us!

very difficult to find supposed to be near roland garos but only by helicopter

This hotel felt dirty and old. No air conditioning in rooms, even though ad stated they did. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.
